|
Guilsfield is three miles only from the market town of Welshpool. It is near to historic Chester, closer still to the Tudor/Jacobean town of Shrewsbury (birthplace of Charles Darwin), the County Town of Montgomery and the Mid-Wales market towns of Welshpool, Newtown and Llanidloes. The canoeing championship town of Llangollen and the book town of Hay-on-Wye are just pleasant drives away through wonderful scenery. Famous for its hill-walking, mountain-bike trails, Offa's Dyke Path, quad-biking, lakes and canoeing, the area also offers excellent and challenging golf courses, modern leisure centres, bike rentals, horse-riding, hiking, fishing, picnicking and hang-gliding!
Vine House itself dates back to the late 1700s but has been refurbished to provide centrally-heated en-suite guest rooms and a large, comfortable guest sitting room/study - all with colour TV. Telephone, fax and internet access is available. The Welcome is
warm and you will feel immediately at home. Car parking
is private. In keeping with increasing guest preference a
non-smoking policy operates throughout. Children of all
ages are welcome and cots and high chairs are available
as Sumptuous breakfasts are served - whether your choice is healthy ... or the more filling English breakfast! Single, Double and family suites are available all year round. There is no extra charge for single occupancy. |
